ABOUT BARROW HALL STABLES

*Barrow Hall Stables is situated in the quiet village of Barrow, between Bury St Edmunds and Newmarket. We formerly run in the village of Culford, Suffolk, as Culford Riding & Livery Yard, but relocated to our new site in September 2007*

Set in beautiful Suffolk countryside, Barrow Hall Stables offers riding and stable management lessons for adults & children of all abilities from the age of 4 years old

We are approved by the British Horse Society (View our Approval Rating here), and are also home to West Suffolk Riding for the Disabled, and St Edmundsbury RDA Group.

We work closely with The College of West Anglia, and offer Equine Diploma courses through them at our yard, with all training and assessing taken on site.

We have over 20 riding school horses and ponies, of all sizes and riding levels, to suit complete beginners to the more advanced rider.

Riding facilities on our yard include 2 undercover riding arenas, 1 60m x 30m outdoor arena, an all weather Canter Track, X Country course with over 20 fences, ranging from 1ft to 3ft in height, and On site and Off site hacking routes.

Other facitities on the yard include a vending machine offering a selection of soft drinks, a picnic area situated next to the office, a lecture room, also availible for use by parties. Our indoor school offers a viewing gallery for parents, relatives and friends who wish to watch lessons.
